The PFFA is a group member of the Salmon and Trout Association.
Recently the S&TA and the PFFA held a joint evening at the Shoulder of Mutton PH at Ruskington in Lincolnshire. This was an opportunity for all to watch and learn the art of tying Pike flies. Dave Lindsay gave a superb demonstration on tying Pike flies and Guy Eldridge did a great job answering question on the sport of pike fly fishing. Barry Graham ( s&t regional organiser) put on a great spread and a really good raffle. Barry picked up first prize for tying the best peacock Pike fly circa 1801. A total of 30 attended the event and we were asked to have another of the same this year.Look out for Barry and myself at this years Norfolk Game fair, come along and have a chat and find out more about the fasinating sport of Pike fly fishing. Thanks to the Shoulder of Mutton PH for the use of their wide screen tv and their hospitality.
