Vice-Chairman & England RO

Rodney Wevill

Pike Fly Fishing Association Vice-Chairman & England RO

I have been fly fishing for trout & grayling since the age of 10, Over the years all my fishing has moved over to the fly, saltwater & freshwater. I started pike fly fishing four years ago & became totally fascinated with the fish & the method of using the fly rod. My real passion are the rivers & drains in the winter months achieving pike to 20 lb. After joining the PFFA, I have fished the big water lakes with fish to 29lb 12.

Being asked to become England RO was a bit of a shock and something I feel very honoured to be asked to do. I am really looking forward to working with the team & help move the PFFA forward, I know that everyone on the team have the same goals to promote fly fishing for pike & the welfare of the fish. Anyone that has met me will know I am approachable good humoured, straight talking and ready to give advice of help where I can.

As England RO I will be organising some events/socials and want all members to know, if they need advice or need to air an issue of any kind please feel free to contact me. I will answer your questions or concerns directly where I can or point you in the direction of someone that can. The whole team is here to grow the association, create a friendly environment and help its members get the most out of pike fly fishing.
